Dependency Injection (DI) is a design pattern used to achieve loose coupling between classes by providing the objects (dependencies) a class needs from an external source, rather than creating them inside the class.

In traditional programming, a class may create its own dependencies using new, which makes it tightly coupled and harder to maintain or test. With DI, the responsibility of creating and supplying dependencies is handled by an external entity (like a framework or container), so the class just uses them.

Types of DI:

  1. Constructor Injection – Dependencies are passed through the class constructor.

  2. Setter Injection – Dependencies are provided via setter methods.

  3. Interface Injection – An interface defines a method to inject the dependency.
