Two-way data binding in Angular is a powerful feature that creates a synchronization between the model (component class) and the view (template/HTML). It means that when the data in the component changes, the view updates automatically, and when the user modifies the data in the view (for example, typing in an input box), the model updates instantly.

Angular achieves this two-way communication using the ngModel directive. It essentially combines both property binding (data flowing from the component to the view) and event binding (data flowing from the view back to the component).

For instance, in an input field bound with two-way data binding, if the component variable changes programmatically, the input box reflects that new value. Conversely, if the user types something into the input, the component variable updates with the latest input.
