In Java, wrapper classes are object representations of primitive data types. Java is an object-oriented language, and sometimes objects are required instead of primitive types — especially when working with collections like ArrayList, which can’t store primitive types directly.

🔹 Why Wrapper Classes?

Java has 8 primitive data types:

int, byte, short, long, float, double, char, boolean

For each of these, Java provides a corresponding wrapper class:

int → Integer
